Cosmetic Dentist Birmingham - Snoring
Stop Snoring
Not only does snoring put a great strain on personal relationships, it can be very bad for your health, especially if it progresses to obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). In OSA, the snorer snorts and actually stops breathing several times during the night. The repeated falls in oxygen levels due to OSA are linked to the development of high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
We can help. Snoring and mild-to-moderate OSA can be treated effectively with simple bite guards that are worn when sleeping. In more severe cases, we work in conjunction with the Sleep Clinic at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital.
Snoring is not funny. Neither is it something that you, or your partner, has to put up with.
This isn't our product but we recommend it because it takes a sensible approach to eliminating the causes of snoring rather than merely seeking to minimize the effects.
